Well, Irony of Ironies, When I move to Livejournal, Xanga starts hiring Web Programmers.  Teh catch:  You have to live in New York.  Granted, I could move, but that'd be TOUGH.  There's gotta be something closer, where there are less qualified people to compete with, hehe!

Yeah, so about the move to LJ:  I won't be updating this blog anymore (not much point in it, you can just bookmark the other site)

As for comments, they can be posted anonymously on LJ, so just put your handle in the subject line of the comment and I'll know who it's from!

This doesn't mean I won't be reading everyone's Xangas, though.  I will still keep reading them, and I'm not planning on closing this one too soon.  Whenever Xanga Management feels like taking it down is probably when it will come down, but that shouldn't be for a while.  I think.

Well that's funny.  And dead wrong.

I think the answers are probably based on assumptions and misunderstandings made by the author of the quiz, though I'm not really sure.  Besides, 'satanism' is often misconstrued.  There's two types, from what I've found - "Satanism" is really LaVeyism, a rebellious religion kinda similar to Discordianism, only better explained.  Then there's the Church of Set - Set is the Egyptian Evil Deity, from whom Satan is derived from.  (The above is all that I know and may be wrong)

The author of the quiz would do well to explain which branch of "Satanism" is on her quiz.  There's also the matter of the "Satanic cults" that are sometimes in the news - they don't exist. They are fabrications, and I wonder where the author of the quiz got her information on these religions from?

Have to give them kudos for NOT making a distinction between Catholicism and Christianity.  Many people around here adamantly state that Catholics are NOT Christians.  Yadda, yadda, yadda.

You scored as Paganism. Your beliefs are most closely aligned with those of paganism, Wicca, or a similar earth-based religion. You may also follow a Native American religion.

Ok, so obviously that didn't work.  It was working when I posted it, I swears.  But it rocked so much, I just have to keep it up here so I might one day show everybody this thing.  It ROX.

LOTR parody.

Purchased some things recently.
Bought the stickers "Gesundheit America" and "God Is Just Pretend" from this site:
http://www.evolvefish.com/fish/stickers.html

Incidentally, the "Gesundheit America" sticker was designed by someone in Columbus!  If you're interested in joining our BLC (Brights Local Constituency), just mail me about it.  Maybe if there's someone besides me to take to those Meetups then I'd go to them!  Ha.

The other thing I bought was a mug from CafePress.
